Good grub

At first not gonna lie i was kinda sceptical about the place until the waitress treated us tourist like we we're their favorite cousin. You think you know fries shut up no you don't. The fries here will make you feel like God himself made them.

I absolutely love this place. It's easy to miss. Which is a good thing.

Wind Rose Cafe was freaking awesome and although the wind was very strong that day the rose petals seem to stay attached

Great date night atmosphere. Holy cow best friend pickles...no seriously best friend pickles. This is coming from someone who hates pickles #leavethecucumeralone. also excellent quesadilla. Great salsa

Nice little bar with good food. We usually stop by here and grab a drink every time we are at Tybee Island. The prices are good and the environment is very laid back.

Awesome lunch special

I love this place. Great food. Fast service. Great drinks. Best potatoe salad, cole slaw and tartar sauce ever to go with the awesome fish baskets or shrimp baskets or po-boys or patty- melts or bbq or burgers or veggie soup or fried chicken... Just everything... It's all good!...and right by the beach!

The flounder fish sandwich is the best we probably ever had! Great potato salad too.

They have the best bar food, super nice bartenders & wicked close to the beach & shops. Nice cold beer too! Always our 1st stop when we get to tybee😆

The most disgusting place I ever ate!! Hamburger tastes an smells like dog food.Servicer was rude!

Not kid friendly and not nice about it. None of their advertising says adults only. We walked in at noon and they acted like we had a disease because we had a kid. Not a good first impression of Tybee Island.

If I could give this negative stars I would. This place is not family friendly what so ever as it was made clear when I attempted to walk in and was barked at “we are not family friendly in any way”. Instead of calling themselves a cafe they should be renamed to be a non welcoming rude bar. Avoid at all Costs!!

Our bartender, I don't recall her name, and the food made this a great stop for lunch. Crabcake sandwich is so good! Bathrooms are not, which is why it's 4 stars and not 5.

Was looking forward to eating here but had to leave as soon as i walked in. This place smelled like a giant ashtray. Shame because the menu looked good.

I called and the young lady said the kitchen was closed....I asked for more information SHE SAID GOOGLE IT !!! CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCK!!

Wind Rose is far from just an establishment, and the bartenders are far more than just bartenders. It's family.

If you can look past the old fashion baskets and styrofoam cups, this place is a hidden jem! Go in ask for the fish tacos and fried pickles! You won't be disappointed!!

It is definitely more of a bar than an eating establishment. But for a quick bite, it was very good. Great fries and potato salad. Friendly atmosphere. Lots of locals so the chatter was lively. If you dont mind cigarette smoke, then you'll like it here. We enjoyed the food.

Whoa! I am so BLESSED to have stumbled upon this place - their food is flavorful and satisfying.... they give a damn about the quality of their lunch specials and I just had to make sure to let folks know: come here for a good meal. It’s hard to find good potato salad, especially for Latinos from the hood and these White brothers and sisters know what they’re doing, super impressed - it was 1 of 2 of the sides, everything was awesome, my love, his mother and I all tried different things and shared. Latinos: this place gives off no racist vibes 😊😎

Located about a half block from the Tybee Island fishing pier, this bar is a in a very convenient location with great prices for its bar food. It seems to be loved by the locals, as the host welcomed everyone by name as they entered.I ordered the Friday lunch special of fried flounder along with my two side item choices of french fries and potato salad. The special also included Texas toast and sweet tea for fewer than nine dollars. A great deal in my opinion. There is also a full menu available if you prefer.The food arrived approximately ten minutes later and was hot and tasty. I would rank the lunch special in my top two spots as far as bar good in concerned. The host was very attentive and I made new friends while I was there. I enjoyed the atmosphere and food and will return soon.

Wind Rose is the reason we travel several times a year from our home in Augusta for three hours to come to Tybee Island. We love all the bartenders: Alana and Joey especially. The food is great . We order the artichoke dip several times over our three to five days stay at Sea and Breeze across the street. We always get the fried mushrooms, hand battered there. Their lunches are the best in town if you’re looking for good home cooking. My husband loves their hamburgers. Me, too. Beyond all of that, we just feel welcome in the laidback southern beach bar atmosphere.Come on up, over or down to Tybee and the Wind Rose.

Beautiful atmosphere excellent food

I love the wind rose. It's laid back and fun. Doug is amazing and not only a great bartender, but also a great DJ and a lot of fun!
